THE 2:67 PROJECT
Based in St Albans, The 2:67 Project is a dynamic Christian ministry dedicated to supporting and resourcing youth and children’s work across churches and schools. With a heart for community, collaboration, and connection, the team works alongside leaders, churches, and young people to grow discipleship and celebrate faith in everyday life.
Ministries and Programmes:
Tribe Leaders’ Breakfasts: A regular, relational space for youth and children’s leaders across the area to gather over breakfast, share stories, and be reminded that they’re not alone in ministry. These mornings build encouragement and spiritual refreshment for those investing in the next generation.
Fuel Youth Gatherings: A monthly city-wide youth event where young people from different churches come together for worship, teaching, prayer, food, and friendship. Fuel provides a powerful, unifying experience of God’s presence and creates space for youth to explore and deepen their faith in a vibrant setting.
Schools Work: The 2:67 team partners with local schools to run assemblies, lessons, and creative projects that bring the Christian story to life. They help build bridges between schools and churches, supporting chaplaincy-style engagement and tailored resources.
Holiday Clubs and Events: Supporting churches in running high-energy, Bible-based children’s programmes during school holidays. From storytelling and crafts to games and worship, these events are fun-filled expressions of faith and community.
Training and Mentoring: Equipping local volunteers and leaders with training, practical tools, and personal mentoring. The team is committed to sustainable, thriving youth and children’s ministry through collaboration, not competition.
Collaborative Projects: The 2:67 Project regularly works with networks, churches, and diocesan teams to create united events, prayer spaces, and missional opportunities across St Albans and beyond.
Vision and Heart:
Named after Colossians 2:6–7, The 2:67 Project longs to see young people rooted in Christ and overflowing with thankfulness. Every gathering, conversation, and event is shaped by this vision: to grow a generation of faithful, resilient disciples and to strengthen those who lead them.
The team’s passion is not just for the young people, but also for the church — believing that through unity, encouragement, and celebration, the work of youth and children’s ministry can flourish across the region.
