The Refinery is our Sunday morning children's and youth streams. Where the children and youth can breakaway from the main service. During this time they explore the bible and faith with their peers, in a way relevant to them. We are passionate about giving children and young people opportunities and spaces to explore their own faith, ask questions and to meet with Jesus.
It’s still church, it’s a lot of fun and everyone is welcome!
All our leaders are carefully recruited and have a current DBS certificate. We adhere to the Church of England Safer Recruitment and Safeguarding standards.
SPARKS
For 0 - 3 years old with parents/carers
Here at St Mark’s, we warmly welcome our little ones to join us during services. However, if you need an additional space, we have a special area available for you. Located upstairs next to the balcony, this room features comfortable sofas, toys and a live audio feed of the service, so you won’t miss a thing.
Flames
For Nursery - Year 5
Flames is our children’s church group designed to offer kids a vibrant, faith-filled experience once they break away from the main service. Here, children engage in an age-appropriate teachings tailored just for them. Our sessions include a blend of fun and meaningful activities such as games, bible reading, prayer, singing and crafts all aimed at nurturing their spiritual growth in an interactive way. Each term, we introduce a new curriculum thoughtfully chosen to best meet the needs of our children at that time. Flames is open to everyone from nursery age through to Year 5.
