Pastoral Visiting Team

We believe that nobody should have to face life’s challenges alone. At St Mark’s, our Pastoral Visiting Team offers friendship, encouragement and practical spiritual support to those who would value someone coming alongside them.

Our pastoral visitors are caring members of the church who have been safeguarding-trained and are committed to listening well, praying where appropriate, and offering gentle support in a confidential and respectful way. Visits may be helpful during illness, bereavement, loneliness, major life changes, or simply when someone would appreciate regular encouragement and connection.

The team is available to visit people at home, in hospital, or in another appropriate setting, depending on the situation and availability.
