Offering practical and prayerful support to our mission partners, Church Varna.
In a recent email about Church Varna’s work with Ukrainain refugees they said this;
Dear Friends,
Just a short note to let you know what has been happening in the last few days. 25,000 Ukraine refugees have arrived in Bulgaria since fighting broke out and more are continuing to arrive. We therefore made the decision as a church to open our doors and have spent the past days buying beds, bedding, cleaning, clearing, fitting boilers etc. Next week we plan to make some basic sanitation available. A number of members of our church have offered rooms to those in need. Please pray for wisdom for all involved. We are also opening this up to babies and young children with physical disabilities who need temporary accommodation. At present the church is buying and sending medicines to Ukraine.
St Marks’ leadership are accessing other opportunities to offer support, any developments will be shared at our Sunday services.

Introducing: Shannon!
Hello, I am Shannon!
I am the new Youth Ministry Trainee for St Mark’s Church Colney Heath. I am married to Andrew, and we have three children together who are nine, seven and four. Previous to my new role at St Mark’s, I worked in a primary school supporting young children as a teaching assistant. I am very excited to become the new church youth worker to connect and nurture the children and young people in the community and the local area.
